Structural Features
The straight pipe pressure balance expansion joint has a working bellows at each end, and the middle is composed of a balance bellows, a reinforced fixed armor deck, a large tie rod and a small tie rod. It uses the force-bearing member (big tie rod or tongue tube) to withstand the internal pressure thrust, so the pipe system only needs to be fixed in the middle. This type of corrugated compensator can only absorb axial displacement.
The straight pipe pressure balance compensator uses flexible deformation to absorb the axial displacement of the pipeline (there are also a small amount of lateral and angular displacement), and the end pipe is directly welded to the pipe connection, or the flange is welded and then connected to the pipe flange. The tie rod on the compensator is mainly used for rigid support during transportation or used for product pre-deformation adjustment. It is not a load-bearing part.
