The universal hinge compensator is also called universal hinge expansion joint. It is used with two or three compensators (a single hinge compensator has no compensation capability), which can compensate any plane of the pipeline The internal angular displacement is widely applicable to pipelines in underground trenches and high-altitude pipelines in chemical, petroleum, thermal power, metallurgy, urban central heating and heating and other pipeline networks.
The universal hinge expansion joint can absorb the deformation in three-dimensional direction, and can also absorb the displacement in any direction. It is mainly used for the powder feeding pipeline of power plant boilers to absorb the downward thermal expansion of the boiler furnace and the lateral expansion of the furnace and the thermal displacement of the powder feeding pipeline. This compensator is generally installed on the horizontal or vertical powder feeding pipe at the inlet of the burner.
